The following are rules and regulations applying to all members of Blue Blood. All members must read these rules before any forum participation. Breach of these policies may result in forum suspension or ban dependant on the severity of the offence.

General Forum Rules
  • All members must respect and follow the decisions made by staff. The instructions given by staff are only put in place to ensure the fairness and organization of the forum and are never intended to discriminate or offend.
  • Do NOT under any circumstance, alter the font's colour or size when posting anywhere in the forums.
  • Any blatant discrimination including, but not limited to: racism, homophobia, and sexism is not tolerated. This rule does not strictly apply to role-play.
  • Spam is not appreciated by any, nor accepted here. This includes purposely posting the same message multiple times, one word posts, and forum games such as "Rate the person above you".
  • There is no tolerance for forum trolling or harassment. Purposely trying to start drama is annoying and best reserved for pitiful attention seekers.
  • Any advertisements and promotions belong in the Off Topic forum titled Promotion.

Character Submission Guide
  • Firstly and most obviously, all characters must be approved by staff and appear in the Approved database before being used in game.
  • Fill in the Character Submission Form with proper spelling and grammar for the English language. Do not exceed the maximums or ignore the minimums.
  • You must hold all rights to any character photos submitted. What does this mean? It means you will probably have to use photos of your actual self OR your own original artwork.
  • Character approval is judged based on believability/authenticity and adhering to all the above guidelines.

Location Submission Guide
  • All custom locations must first be approved by staff before a topic can be created.
  • If denied, the staff will specify the reasoning and you may correct and resubmit the form at a later date.
  • Approved locations will be given the okay to have a topic created for them in the appropriate sub-forum. It is the duty of the member submitting said location to create this topic themselves once approved.
  • The Location Submission Form must be filled in completely with proper spelling and grammar for the English language.
  • You must hold all rights to any location reference photos you submit. Meaning you own the rights to original photos OR it is your original artwork.
  • Location approval is based on these guidelines as well as eligibility further explained in the Locations forum, Submission.

Role-Playing Structure
  • We operate on a POV [Point of View] system since users are allowed multiple characters. This means at the beginning of every post you should state: POV: [Character's Name] and bold it. See example below.
  • All actions are to follow the third person narration commonly observed in story telling. See example below.
  • All dialogue should be placed in quotations: "[Dialogue Here]". See example below.
  • All thought must be italicized: [Thoughts Here]. See example below.
  • Complete Example:
    Quote :
    POV: Maxim Sinclair

Maxim felt exhausted from the lack of sleep he had gotten last night. He had been up, pacing his room, thinking about his important job interview. I hope I make a good first impression...

He walked through the office doors as confidently as possible and said, "Maxim Sinclair. Here for my interview!" Noticing the office was empty, he blushed and took a seat in the row of waiting chairs.
  • You can NOT make decisions for characters that do not belong to you. If a block is created by another user's inactivity, contact a staff member and they will resolve any issues.
  • As common sense should relate, one character cannot be in multiple locations at once. You must formally exit one location before starting in another.
  • Members who attempt to make their characters always right or to come out on top of any situation will be warned to stop God-Playing. Be true to the nature of your character, but remember that they're not capable of inhuman outcomes.
  • You cannot kill another character. Some characters will have certain privileges over others based on the credit system and upgrades. For more information see the Catalog forum under Databanks.

If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the rules, post them in the Support forum found under the Community category.
